I love multi-purpose products that I can use to reduce steps in my skincare and make-up but also so they work hard for the price I pay for them.
I love the Peter Thomas Roth skincare line and in particular I am totally obsessed with the masks, they are undeniably amazing!
My skin is dry/ dehydrated and needs a lot of moisture rich soothing products to keep it happy.
The Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber de-tox bouncy hydrating gel ticks all the boxes of my skincare needs, is surprisingly a gel where I tend to gravitate towards heavier cream based products and doubles up as a great primer/ base for my makeup!
This is why I love it!
This has a very strange bouncy texture as the name suggests and has a thick gel like consistency that is very unique.
It isn’t a thin watery gel by any means and has a richness that needs to be worked into the skin but absorbs completely leaving a smooth matte finish but your skin hydrated and comfortable!
It leaves a perfect smooth base ready for makeup to apply flawlessly on top as your dry skin needs are addressed.
This claims to have a unique Bio-Mesh Technology™ which is derived from Rice Bran Extract, to help enhance delivery of moisturising actives.
Cucumber Extract helps to nourish, hydrate, comfort, soothe, calm and de-puff the appearance of skin. I love that there is scent to this moisturiser that could potentially irritate the skin!
It also contains melon, raspberry, apple, apricot and sandlewood extracts.
My favourite ingredient is Hyaluronic Acid which helps improve hydration by attracting and retaining moisture.
The detoxing properties come from Vitamins C, E and A which give the skin a supple even and glowy appearance.
This is a simple product that fits into your skincare routine without any fuss.
You simply apply on clean skin as part of your morning and evening routine.
It goes well over serums and other products and applying a mist/ toner underneath just helps lock in extra moisture!
This is a great product for anyone that needs a lightweight moisturiser with intense hydration that leaves skin smooth and supple.
It doubles up as a great make-up primer and leaves the skin with a comfortable matt finish.
It is quite pricey and not for everyones budget but if you come across a good deal that you can afford I would recommend giving this a try. It really addresses any moderate oily skin concerns and tackles the dry/ dehydrated parts amazingly.
