I like a variety of cleansers and appreciate all the different textures they can offer.
Having dry dehydrated skin I need something that works hard at lifting makeup and grime but gentle enough to leave my skin soft and supple without leaving it stripped or dry.
I love a good cleansing oil as part of my double cleanse especially in the evenings as I can take my time. This is perfect for any double cleanse routine and heres why!
Texture and Ingredients
I really love the ingredients in this cleansing oil as they are soothing, brightening and nourishing.
it is infused with Vitamin C and nourishing Olive, Grapeseed and Rosehip oils. Boosted with Rosemary oil, Vitamin E and soothing Cucumber oil it gently dissolves face and eye make-up and removes daily impurities.
This oil has a slip to it and it lightweight yet has a thickness to it. Upon contact with water it does turn into a light milky texture.
I love massaging an oil cleanser into my skin and really getting the blood flowing to the surface. Once I have worked it into my skin I add water and the consistency turns milky.
It is quite a thick oil compared to other cleansers I have tried and so would recommend removing it with a wash cloth or muslin cloth as rinsing with just water does leave a greasy residue on the skin.
After rinsing my skin feels comfortable and clean but also bright and glowy!
This is a really great nourishing and brightening cleansing oil that is really affordable and has some really amazing ingredients in it that my skin really appreciates.
It really does loosen up stubborn mascara and even tackles liquid lipticks without problem.
Your skin will still needs a second cleanse to really get rid of the last traces of makeup and grime.
It smells fresh and citrusy which I really enjoy. Overall I would say it is something I would definitely give a try if you need a new cleansing oil!
