Review of the Nip and Fab Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Shot and Bee Sting Fix Repairing Shot! A must to boost your skincare routine!

Love the products you have but need to make them work a little harder? Change in weather and heating/ air con playing havoc with your skin? Then you need to add a little shot to your skincare routine and you will thank me for it! I have added both the Dragons’s Blood Hyaluronic shot and the Bee Sting Fix Repairing Shot to my skincare routine for a few months and I absolutely love them both.

I have dehydrated dry skin that is sometime combination skin (go figure!) with that in mind and the struggles of constant change in weather ( thank you London!) my skin needs a little extra TLC and these shots are exactly that. The names of these shots take me to a different world, as I imagine a TLC skincare routine ‘magically’ extracted from Dragon’s Blood and the venom of a Bees Sting!

The Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Shot is perfect for dehydrated skin! It uses “Dragons Blood”, a sap from the Amazonian Croton Lechleri tree, to protect and heal the skin . This is combined with Nip and Fabs famous Hyaluronic Solution that locks in moisture and plumps up the skin. It is a little sticky initially (like most products with hyaluronic acid) when you apply it but absorbs into the skin beautifully. The colour is stunning and really does give my face extra hydration.

The Bee Sting Fix Repairing Shot is a very lightweight nourishing shot. It is an oil that contains hyaluronic acid and royal jelly to care for and repair dry skin. As it really does contain bee venom so if you are allergic to bee stings stay away! This has a very thin consistency an dis very liquid to the touch (not oily at all if your worried) and it makes my skin instantly more glowy! Together this is the perfect combination for my skin concerns!

The glass packaging is simple, sleek and functional and feels luxurious and comes in 30ml or 1.01fl. oz each. The product itself is dispensed using a button on the lid that activates the pippet to draw up and release the desired amount. The Bee Venom in particular has a very thin consistency and so you don’t have much control in getting exactly the amount you need. These can be added to your day/night cream for extra hydration and skin benefits or to make your favourite serum work a little harder. You can even add it neat to your freshly cleansed skin after toner (my favourite way to use it). However as it absorbs into the skin almost instantly, I like to dispense it directly onto the face.

The price point of these little gems is an interesting one as you can usually find them on sale but they retail at £24 each rrp so I would recommend keeping an eye out on a deal. In the UK they are available in Boots and Superdrugs and Amazon have some great deals which I will link below.

Overall these have the stamp of approval from me as they are definitely beauty gems that fit into any routine. Do you have any product recommendations from the Nip and Fab line? I would love to hear about them so leave them in the comment section below!
